Introduction The 2007 California Billfish Series will cumulate with a one-day "Shoot-Out" to determine the Series Champions. Based on an accumulative point scoring system, eight teams will be invited to participate in the one-day event. All teams invited will receive special prizes and the grand prize winners will walk away with "championship" hardware and FREE TEAM ENTRY INTO ALL OF THE 2008 QUALIFYING CBS EVENTS! (All events the winning team entered in 2007). Eligibility Any team which enters and participates in the Avalon Billfish Classic ProAm, the Riviera Zane Grey or the Hatteras Catalina Classic is automatically entered into the California Billfish Series. Any Team which is invited to participate in the "Shoot-Out" must include the team captain and at least two members who were all official team members in any of the qualifying events. New team members (up to two) may be added to the team for the "Shoot-Out" event as long as they were not members of any other 2007 event (ABC, ZG or CC) cash winning team.
