The three tournaments that make up the California Billfish Series, including the Zane Grey Invitational, the Avalon Billfish Classic and the Catalina Classic, represent the most prestigious marlin tournaments along the western United States. No other marlin tournament in California draws together such a large field of sportfishing boats.
The events all take place on historic Catalina Island, tthe perfect backdrop for the series, with its strong routes to offshore fishing. - Sponsor logos will be incorporated into the California Billfish Series ads that will run on BDoutdoors.com and Pacific Coast Sportfishing Magazine. We will also list sponsors in the tournament blog and in all email newsletters that go to more than 70,000 registered email addresses. All sponsors will also be mentioned in the tournament recaps, which will go out to a national audience.
- We encourage all sponsors to use the California Billfish Series to promote their products. We will post links, product reviews and if you have video, we can accommodate that as well. All sponsors will be featured in the sponsors pages and the news blogs as they join up.
- Sponsors can sell retail products at the Vendor Village and interact with tournament participants throughout the course of the event. The men and women who fish this series are a key demographic of affluent anglers who love to fish.
